The Theme of 2024
Even though I enjoy a bit of spontaneity, I like to plan.
Controlled chaos is the game.
Every year, I get a new wall planner, where I track some goals and write down dates for gigs and meetings - it’s a nice overview of what is happening and also reminds me of what I did in the last 12 months.
But at the end of each year, I also come up with a theme for the next year, which I write at the top of the planner. For 2024 (which I probably mentioned 12 months ago), it was - Paulina’s Year (or Rok Paulinki in Polish).
For the past few years, she supported me and my endeavours as she was looking for her path. When she finally decided on the direction, it was time to focus on her.
So, 2024 was dedicated to her.
Just a few things she did in the last 12 months:
Got not 1 but 2 certifications towards her career in canine nutrition
Attended workshops, courses and classes throughout the year
Started recording and posting regular videos on her YouTube channel
Passed Grade 2 in Cello
Moved into advanced Pole Fitness classes
Reorganised her business with ideas for new products in 2025
And many more smaller things. It was a good, albeit busy, year.
What’s the theme for 2025 - the focus is back on business and various projects.
I will call it 2.0 as we take things to the next level.
Have a good Christmas!
WHAT AM I WORKING ON
The shop is closed, but I am still doing bits and bobs. We have many ideas for 2025, but I am using this time to recharge and organise.
Another video from the fantasy series where I talked about the inherent bias towards Orcs in Fantasy!
WHAT AM I READING
Stormlight Archive: Wind and Truth. 50% in and loving it.
WHAT AM I WATCHING
Still watching Shogun and Skeleton crew, good shows. But I am thinking what to put on during Christmas. Maybe the new Wallace and Gromit?
That's it for now. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you (hopefully!) next week!
