It's over
Last week was the perfect example of the five stages of grief.
Denial - when I saw how many people were in the queue before me
Anger - when I couldn’t get the tickets once it was my turn
Bargaining - when I held hopes for the last day of ticket release
Depression - when it was clear it was not going to happen
Acceptance - when I realised it’s all over
We turned up for all three presales and the general sale, but it was not meant to be.
Too many people wanted to see Black Sabbath for the very last time, and not enough tickets were available.
People were upset with Ticketmaster, random allocation, prices and massive queues.
But let’s be real.
We were fighting the whole world and nearly 60 years of fanbase - it was always a long shot.
What’s left to do is to put on Children of the Grave and fill the void with black emptiness.
WHAT AM I WORKING ON
TWO things happened.
Casefile is back for the 2025 season with the Night Caller 2 parter. The first episode is out alongside the new, revamped YouTube video by my cousin Rydz.
It’s good to be back.
We also released the first three episodes of the Polish dub of Casefile, which I narrated, and the first YouTube video.
If you have any Polish friends - share it, and I kindly ask for a good rating. Every little helps!
We also released another video edited by my youngest brother, Piotr on my YouTube channel. It’s a funny one too!
WHAT AM I READING
Musk by Walter Isaacson. I enjoy Isaacson's biographies, and Musk’s was next on the list—an engineer, entrepreneur, troll, visionary, madman, and recently a very controversial figure. I read one of his biographical bios before, but this one is much more detailed and captivating. It explains where his obsessions come from and why he is such a polarising figure. I highly recommend it.
WHAT AM I WATCHING
Mandalorian. I finished Mando’s 3rd season and was not impressed. It was such unnecessary, all-over-the-place storytelling that left us feeling bored. It looks nice, and it sounds nice, but something was lost. The heart is what made the first two seasons so good. But that’s what we can now expect from Disney - content, not stories.
Invincible. We started on S3, and at least that one did not disappoint! It's a really good start, and hopefully, the rest of the episodes will keep up the quality. We also watch High Potential every Thursday, which is a very easy series.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you (hopefully!) next week!
